*Please note, if you are an international student you must present your I-20 or DS-2019 along with your foreign-issued passport.

Do I need to notify the Aggie Card Office once I upload my photo?

The application will automatically notify the Aggie Card Office that a photo has been received so you do not need to take any additional action to notify us. All communications regarding the status of your Aggie Card will be sent to your official Texas A&M University email account so be sure to check to verify the status of your Aggie Card.

How can I check the status of my Aggie Card?

Go to myaggiecard.tamu.edu and log into the application. Click the My Aggie Card Status option under the My Aggie Card drop down menu at the top of your screen. Here you will see your status (approved, denied or pending), the date you submitted your photo, and the date it was reviewed by Aggie Card Office staff for approval.

When will my Aggie Card be ready for pickup?

If you are an incoming student, your card will be ready for pickup at your designated New Student Conference. Check your New Student Conference schedule for information on when and where to pick up your Aggie Card on Day 1.

If you are a current student, faculty, staff, administrator, visiting scholar, retiree or other Texas A&M University affiliate, your Aggie Card will be ready for pickup within 24 hours of the time you receive your approval email. Just stop by our office in the General Service Complex, Suite 2801.

Can anyone else pick up my Aggie Card?

Only the cardholder can pick up their Aggie Card. You will be required to show a government issued photo ID when you pick up your Aggie Card.

Can I have my Aggie Card mailed to me?

No Aggie Cards can be mailed. You are required to show an official government-issued photo ID when you pick-up your card. The ID card contains a photograph and electronic identification, authentication and access credentials intended to provide the university with a mechanism for identity verification, electronic validation, authentication and verification of authorized access to services. In the interest of public safety and security, no person will be issued an ID card without first being verified.

Can I change my picture later?

Yes. However, a re-carding fee will be charged.

I am a faculty, staff, administrator, or visiting scholar, can I just pay for my ID card myself?

No. For security reasons, as of September 1, 2015, Student Business Services will no longer be accepting individual employee payments for their ID cards. Employees, guests and visiting scholars' departments will be responsible for payment.

*Note to Retirees: Individual payment will be accepted in the form of pin debit card, check, or money order. Our office does not accept cash.
